Infinite Routes, LLC was established by a group of dedicated social work clinicians who celebrate neurodiversity and, while working together, envisioned creating a therapeutic, supportive, and affirming environment in the community where young people can grow, explore, make connections, and be embraced for who they are.

What is Neurodiversity?

Neurodiveristy is the concept, first developed by sociologist Judy Singer, that all brains are different and that this is natural. Rather than viewing someone with a neurological disorder as lacking, there is a shift to viewing it as a natural difference. These natural differences in brains also result in people with different brains having different strengths.

Differences, not deficits.

We embrace Autism, ADHD, learning differences, and all forms of neurodiversity.

All neurological differences can come with their own challenges that may look different from person to person and with which individuals may need support navigating. Neurodiverse affirming means that we accept and embrace individuals for their neurological differences rather than try to change them or force them to think, feel, and act in the ways others expect them to. Forcing individuals with neurological differences to act in ways that the majority of people would find to be “normal” or “acceptable” can be damaging to the mental and emotional wellbeing of neurodivergent individuals and be damaging to relationships with loved ones. Rather than teaching neurodivergent individuals to conform, Infinite Routes embraces differences and supports our clients to be who they are! We provide accommodations, identify effective coping strategies, and recognize personal strengths so that clients can effectively work on achieving goals, learning new skills, and building meaningful connections with others.

At Infinite Routes, we will take the time to understand our clients' differences and build trusting relationships. Our goal is to support clients to navigate life’s challenges, improve self-esteem, build self-advocacy skills, and develop positive relationships with others.

Meet the Team

  • RACHEL SLETZINGER, LICSW

    Co-founder of Infinite Routes, LLC

    Pronouns: She/Her

    Education:
    Masters in Social Work, Boston University School of Social Work.

    Rachel has many years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults in school, residential, and outpatient medical settings. She is passionate about helping her clients develop important life skills, such as independence, self-advocacy, relationship building, coping and problem solving, along with boosting social communication confidence and supporting emotional regulation. Above all, she considers the most important aspect of her role to be supporting her clients in finding ways to attain lasting personal fulfillment, so they can lead meaningful, joyful, and productive lives within their communities, and feel valued and understood. Rachel’s approach to therapy is client-driven, interactive, collaborative (working closely with families and other providers), warm, and non-judgmental, while creating a safe space for individuals to be themselves.

  • ELIZABETH WILSON, LICSW

    Education:
    Masters in Social Work, Boston College School of Social Work

    Elizabeth provides clinical services to young children, adolescents, teens, and those transitioning into young adulthood. She has worked with individuals and in home, school, residential, and hospitalized settings and has experience supporting clients and families during times of crisis, change, and transition. Client’s special interests, play, and creativity are all incorporated into the therapeutic process when working with Elizabeth. She celebrates different ways of thinking and experiencing the world, utilizing a variety of approaches to find what works best for the individual in navigating challenges and building self esteem, confidence, and self advocacy skills. Elizabeth places importance on collaboration with families and building positive, trusting therapeutic relationships with those she works with in order to effectively work on their goals.

  • SEDGIE NAJARIAN, LICSW

    Education: Masters in Social Work, Simmons College School of Social Work.

    Sedgie is a proud co-founder of Infinite Routes, LLC. Throughout her career, Sedgie has worked extensively with children, adolescents and young adults in the home, residential, school and medical settings. She believes that our children deserve more spaces to be heard and valued, so that they can grow and develop their sense of self and community within a safe and supportive environment. Sedgie is passionate about supporting children in a creative, warm, supportive, and non-judgmental manner, and she seeks to make therapy an engaging and special time for her clients to work towards their goals. Sedgie values close collaboration with families, outside team members, and community resources, whenever helpful, in order to strengthen feelings of connection and support.

  • ABIGAIL HAMMOND, LICSW

    Education: Masters in Social Work, Boston College School of Social Work

    Abigail started her career in 2010 as a special educator working with adolescents. Building on her knowledge of child development and learning, she purposefully transitioned to social work with the intention of continuing to make a positive impact on both individuals and the communities that serve them. Abigail’s career has allowed her to work in a variety of settings, from public and private school systems, to community-based crisis teams. In addition to her work with clients at Infinite Routes, LLC., she serves as a school social worker / school adjustment counselor at a high school. Abigail understands the complexity required for individuals to achieve personal, emotional, social, and academic success. Her frequent interactions with children, adolescents, and their families motivate her day-to-day, especially as she, in partnership with collateral contacts and home supports, strives to develop sustainable pathways to growth and understanding of self and environment. Abigail firmly believes that open communication and transparency allow her to build and support trusting relationships with individuals and their families. She places the highest value on developing safe spaces where clients feel heard and experience being an integral part of the strategy building process. Ultimately, progress is demonstrated when children and families feel their sense of self and well-being are enhanced.
